Zamalek preparing for Hazem’s retirement match

By: Sherif Tarek - Zamalek president Mamdouh Abaas revealed that the
white castle will organize a well-prepared retirement match for veteran
Hazem Emam.

The Cairo-based club board has formed a temporary committee to
plan out this event, but more importantly, to talk international
high-profile footballers into taking part in the prestigious
exhibition.

According to the chairman, the club will dedicate all the possible
resources to Honor the former international, who claimed numerous
trophies and medals with Zamalek and Egypt throughout his glittering
career.

The 34-year-old has proclaimed his intention to retire for
good on Saturday after leading the men in white to the local cup title
weeks ago to end a horrendous 4 trophyless years.

Moreover, Abass reaffirmed Hazem will take up a pivotal job
inside the club right after his retirement, but he didn’t elaborate any
further and preferred to keep Hazem’s would-be post undisclosed. .
